Terms of Service

Last updated: 16 June 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using Better Call Salon. They explain the rules for using the Service, how subscriptions and no-show protection work, and the limits of our responsibilities.

1. Who we are

Better Call Salon ("Better Call Salon", "we", "us", or "our") provides a booking link and no-show protection service for salons and independent stylists. These Terms of Service (the "Terms") form a binding agreement between you and Better Call Salon governing your access to and use of our websites, applications, and related services (collectively, the "Service").

2. Accepting these Terms

By creating an account, starting a trial, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you are using the Service on behalf of a salon or other organisation, you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation, and "you" refers to that organisation. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us promptly at [email protected] if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

4. Subscriptions, trials, and billing

The Service is offered on a subscription basis. Plan pricing and any free trial period are described at the point of sign-up. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled.

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider. By providing a payment method, you authorise us to charge the applicable fees, including recurring subscription fees, to that method. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

5. No-show protection and held cards

The Service enables you to require clients to provide payment card details to secure a booking and to charge a no-show or late-cancellation fee in accordance with the policy you configure. You are solely responsible for setting a lawful and clearly disclosed cancellation policy and for ensuring your clients are informed of it before booking.

Better Call Salon provides the tooling to hold cards and apply charges, but you — not Better Call Salon — are the merchant of record for any fee charged to your clients. You are responsible for handling disputes, refunds, and chargebacks relating to your bookings.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • violate any applicable law or the rights of others;
  • charge clients fees that have not been clearly and lawfully disclosed;
  • upload malicious code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to the Service;
  • resell, reverse engineer, or copy the Service except as permitted by law.

7. Your content and data

You retain ownership of the content and client information you submit to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, and use that content as needed to provide and improve the Service. Our handling of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.

8. Service availability

We work to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue features from time to time. Where practical, we will give reasonable notice of material changes that adversely affect your use of the Service.

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We are not a party to the appointments you book with your clients.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Better Call Salon will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. On termination, your right to use the Service ends, though provisions that by their nature should survive — such as billing for amounts owed, disclaimers, and limitations of liability — will continue to apply.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
